About the project

Women* (including trans, genderqueer and non-binary folx) have historically played an important role in feeding the world, saving seeds or ensuring biodiversity but have not been portrayed as such. In order to combat the neglect of women at the forefront of ensuring humanity’s survival the project aims to increase their visibility.
